It is about 700m from Riells beach, a place with lots of activity during the day and especially in the evenings as there are many bars, restaurants, ice cream shops and shops all around the beach and there is a pedestrian walk way to the Port and the old village of  L’Escala.

Other interesting places to visit are the beaches of Empúries, the old town (Platja de les Barques, a place with a lot of activity too), Montgó and the port of l’Escala.
